Regulatory Compliance

In recent years it has become a legal requirement for all businesses providing accounting, bookkeeping and payroll services to comply with various regulations and register with the supervising bodies.

Here is a summary of how we comply:

HMRC On-line submission of VAT & Tax Returns

The Government is gradually making on-line submission to HMRC compulsory instead of paper-based submissions. Accounting Services for Business is registered with HMRC for on-line submissions.

We are able to submit all statutory returns to HMRC on-line (VAT, Corporation Tax, Self Assessment, Partmership Returns, CIS).

On-line filing ensures that all submissions are received by HMRC within the deadlines without risk of postal delays and potential penalties that would arise from late arrival.

Data Protection Act Compliance

We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office in compliance with the Data Protection Act.

Money Laundering Regulations

We comply with the Money Laundering Regulations 2009 by being directly registered with HMRC.

Data Security

Although not a legal requirement, the care and security of your business data is vital and we have taken steps to ensure the safety of your information.

All data on our computer systems is automatically backed up overnight. Data is stored at a secure remote data store, hosted by an industry leading data security service provider within the UK. The backup happens every night, seven days a week. >> more
